Israeli forces shot and killed a 23-year-old Palestinian footballer named Ahmad Atef Daraghmeh in the occupied West Bank.
On Thursday (December 22), Israeli forces escorted some Jews to Joseph’s shrine in Nablus, West Bank, according to Palestinian news agency Wafer.
At that time, there were clashes and shootings between Palestinians and Israelis. Footballer Ahmed Daraghmeh was seriously injured and died later. Five more people were injured in this incident.
The deceased footballer Daraghmeh was a resident of the nearby town of Tubas. According to Palestinian local media, Ahmad used to play for West Bank Premier League club Thafi Tulkarem.
He was the highest scorer in this season with 6 goals for his team.
